Wild Card 2 skip Reid Carruthers outscores NWT’s Jamie Koe at Tim Hortons Brier

LONDON, Ont. — Wild Card 2 skip Reid Carruthers outscored Jamie Koe of the Northwest Territories 11-7 on Sunday on the Tim Hortons Brier.
Carruthers trailed by three on the recreation’s halfway level after Koe scored a four-ender within the fifth finish.
The Winnipeg skip rebounded with three factors within the sixth and added deuces within the final three ends for the victory.
Alberta’s Kevin Koe defeated Northern Ontario’s Tanner Horgan 7-4 and Manitoba’s Matt Dunstone walloped Nunavut’s Jake Higgs 14-2.
Saskatchewan’s Kelly Knapp posted a 7-3 win over Nathan Younger of Newfoundland and Labrador within the different early recreation.
Two extra attracts are scheduled for later within the day at Budweiser Gardens. Spherical-robin play continues by way of Thursday and the ultimate is scheduled for March 12.
